Hip, Hip Hooray!
What a fun day-- and I met for lunch at her fabulous new place. Actually, I suppose the house is technically 's, but since she's my primary friend (he's more of a friend-in-law), I think of it as hers. I hadn't been over there since the furniture arrived and what a difference some couches make! It's so cozy--plus they have wireless internet so we can play "dueling laptops" while watching "Barefoot in the Park" (courtesy of a Robert Redford marathon on AMC).
coached me on all the important livejournal features, which helps explain why there are schmancy new icons and links. I feel quite sophisticated, really. I'm sure Slate.com will be calling me for an interview any day now.
Um, totally unrelated, but I LOVE this entry. Why can't I find love like that?
Speaking of dueling computers, my mom is sitting not 10 feet away, trying to figure out how to burn an audiobook onto a series of CDs. It's not exactly going smoothly. Some might use the word painful, but not me. Oh no, I know better than that.
